Alinghi had a better performance leading to the 1st mark (upwind) but the reach was too much for A5, USA 17 flew over 30knots in 8knots of wind.
After so much talk, the best ‘legal team’ also was the best on the Water.
Hats off to Russell Coutts, Spithill , Larry Ellison and the whole team.
