"... Some details of the Alinghi cat, for example the curved dagger board. This curved one must have been not effective, because they switched this curved one for a straight one. This can also been seen in one of the picts. This straight daggerboard also has to be placed with a crane!!, not easy to pull when you are at the top mark, so an engine is needed.
Also the size of the spreaders is very impressive. The whole mast fits on a ball with the size of a tennis ball..look at the mast foot."
