Italy F18: Winter Championship in Calambrone

Calambrone (Pisa), Italy – Sunday November 29, 2009

Great weekend of sailing at Calambrone (PISA).Same crews were out Saturday to try with a nice 20 knots of wind and wave formed and very steep. Sunday is the 2nd day of the Winter Championship.
With great pleasure came to race several of the strongest performers in our Italian class.It were sailed two beautiful and tactically races with winds up to 20 knots and more.

In the first race, Radman-Lai won after a strong battle with De Grenet-Marzorati (seconds) and Ferrari-Poggetti (third). The second race of the day Ferrari- Poggetti won, second Zucchi-Fantoni, on third the excellent De Grenet-Marzorati. Big show after our races for a windsurf slalom race organized by the Circolo 
Vela Sunset in front of bar of the beach.
