Code Zero: Now Mitch discards the controversial sail
Due to change of weather forecast Mitch Booth decided to finally race with a traditional Tornado Spi.
He always pointed that weather forecast was key for their final decision.
As the dutch team presented two different sails (code zero and standard one) they we were able to make a final minute call.
USA team presented two code zeros so they didn´t had Mitch´s options.
People is talking about treason…..???
The only “questionable” action could come from USA for not allowing theirselfs a 2nd choice if wind blows as expected over 11knots.
And now with more wind potentially coming, also benefits Booth´s aspirations as he perform much better in these conditions.
So don´t cry for the USA team, as for sure they know what they are doing, and if the wind gods does not allow more wind in days to come, we will see a “solo” walk to the gold medal and the ones blaming theirselfs for LIFE will be the Dutchs!
50-50% gamble, lets see who took the right decision after the medal race is over!
