F18 Worlds Final Day: Cammas 2nd place Overall

Excellent performance for Franck Cammas and Lagarrigue.
Without previous experience together in a F18 major Championship they’ve achieved more than they expected and only 2 point short of being World Champs.

Cammas: “If they’d offered us this ranking at the start of the week we’d have snapped it up” said a delighted Franck Cammas who continues: “We really battled hard though it’s a shame that we missed out on the title by just two points. That’s the name of the game though and we’re proud of the result. I think it’s been a long time since a French team has achieved such a good result”.

Alongside him, Jérémie Lagarrigue is happy: “It’s great. We are vice champions of the world. Franck and I got on really well and had a lot of fun. He is really talented”.

These two french sailors will continue racing F18 Worlds, being so close the 1st time, only makes them want the Championship title just a “little” more.
